Engineering Student Innovation Fund launched
The Fund, which is supported by donations from alumni and industrial partners of the School, provides an opportunity for students to bring their engineering ideas to life. Often, the cost of materials and resources is a barrier that prevents students from taking their ideas any further. With the launch of the new Fund, the School hopes to provide funding for as many projects as possible in order to bridge the gap between our students’ ambitions and their realisation.
Students can apply for funding through a simple online process, after which their applications will be considered by the Engineering Student Innovation Fund committee of staff and alumni, including Mechanical Engineering alumnus and NASA biomedical engineer Andrew Abercromby.
Applications are invited by midnight on Sunday 6 December.
